The Bitcoin Rabbi
Rabbi Caras studied Jewish law and ethics at Yeshiva Ohr Tmimim in Kfar Chabad, Israel. He currently lives in Albany, NY where he teaches both Judaism and technology classes at a Maimonides Hebrew Day School.
Since 2017, he has been researching Bitcoin, blockchain, and cryptocurrency. In early 2019 he released his book, Bitcoin Money: A Tale of Bitville Discovering Good Money.
It has been praised by industry leaders as an excellent introduction into the world of cryptocurrency, teaching both children and adults about the basic ideas of Bitcoin.
He has been featured on many cryptocurrency news sites such as The World Crypto Network, Bitcoinist.com, and the BlockTV.
